Jennifer Roy ,
Horn
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the Catholic University of America and a Master of Science in Music Education from Towson University. Her teachers have included Phillip Munds, Sylvia Alimena, Laurel Ohlsen, and Brice Andrus.
Jennifer plays horn with The Annapolis Wind Symphony, The Londontowne Symphony Orchestra, and the Chesapeake Wind Quintet. She has also played with the Baltimore Symphonic Band and other chamber groups. She has performed internationally, including a once-in-a-lifetime performance in Rome for the Pope. As a freelance musician in the greater Baltimore area, Jennifer has performed in various music ensembles, recitals and pit orchestras.
In addition to performing, Jen teaches elementary and middle school band for the Archdiocese of Baltimore. Her middle school bands have won numerous awards at area festivals. She also finds time to maintain a strong private horn studio.
